Today is Independence Day! I love to celebrate this holiday on the east coast. I can't believe it has been 1 year since I have been out to NYC. This year I had no travel plans and actually worked all day. Since the firework displays in San Diego pale in comparison to the east coast shows, I will not be fighting the crowds tonight to watch the show. I will be chilling in my house and going to bed early since this is my weekend to work. Sounds like fun right?

I have this wierd goal to see all the major firework displays on the East coast. I have been to Boston and watching it on TV does not do the firework show justice. Once you have been to a firework display on the east coast, nothing else really compares. It is kind of like going to Disneyworld and then going to Disneyland...huge disappointment. Anyway, this year my roommate and I are going to NYC for the holiday festivites with our sisters. I am so excited! We are only there for 5 days, but I know it is going to be a blast. Happy Fourth of July!!!!
