It has been a crazy couple of months. Football season, the election and work has consumed me. Which is why I have somewhat fallen off the blogging radar.
I am happy that the election is over and I am happy with the result! Thank goodness I don't have to think about moving to Canada!
Football season has been a bit of a surprise. My Packers are struggling at this point in the season. But I am having the time of my life with my new found friends at the Packer bar!
Work is still a 4 letter word. What else can I say? I work in retail and it is the holiday season. Even though the economy is in the toilet, I still have to work crazy hours.
I am excited to get moved into my new place. I can honestly say that I am excited for this transition part of my life to get started so I can move into the next chapter of my life.
Since it will probably be awhile till I blog again on here...I wish everyone a very happy holidays!
Apparently this is the year for corporate visitors. I just completed another walkthrough after working a 24 day stretch and a 32 hour shift. To say that I am exhausted is an understatement. And I have more visitations already scheduled within the next 30 days. I should just save on rent and move into my place of employment.
The house hunting had been put on hold due to the last walkthrough I just completed. Since there seems to be no relief in sight from visits, I will be trying to house hunt while working crazy long days. At this rate, I am considering just renting an apartment, simply for the simplicity of it.
Today was my first day off in 25 days! I am so exhausted...I even worked a 27 hour shift in there. My walkthru is done and went great I might add. I celebrated last night and have been sleeping alot today.
This weekend I will be house hunting. I need to find a new place to live and in a short amount of time. So cross your fingers that I find a good deal.
I am so glad it is almost Thursday! We had inventory last night in my store. I worked from 4pm on Sunday evening until 10am Monday morning. I had been awake for over 24 hours straight! I have learned that I could never be a medical doctor. I slept for about 3 hours and then had to go back into work. I have finally made it home and am completely exhausted. For the next 2 days I will be training a new manager at my job...a tasty treat is definately going to be needed by Thursday.
On Saturday night, I took my roommate out to a restaurant in Los Angeles for her birthday. It is actually more like a lounge. It is in the Westin Bonaventure hotel in LA and is revolving. The hotel is fabulous as well, if you have never been I highly recommend it.
Well, I am going to try to get some sleep before work overtakes me again in the morning.
Well, I am completely drained! Inventory is this weekend and I will be glad when it is over! Since I have been working so hard, I decided to reward myself on my one day off this week. I got a 60 minute massage that was heavenly and then I had my "Polly Promotion" haircut touched up. I must say I am hottttt! And now I am going to LAX to pick up my tasty treat reward that is flying in this evening.
It's true what they say...hard work really does pay off!
Wow...guess it has been a long time since I posted on here. Work has once again consumed my life! My schedule has been crazy. I have been working so many weekends that I feel like it's the holiday season. You know, when the days start to blend together. Anyways, I am working 2 overnights starting tonight. Then next week I get to work 6 days because inventory is approaching. Am I a lucky girl or what? All I have to say is I am really glad that I don't have a social life...because it would seriously be suffering by now.
Well, thanks for letting me get that off my chest. I am off to take a nap before evening falls and work calls.
